Not Your “Typical” Chardonnay!
Vanilla Puddin Chardonnay 2012 is not your typical “New World” Chardonnay; actually if u close your eyes you may think that you are drinking a slightly oak’d Moscato. This Chardonnay is not full-bodied, it’s not “buttery or very oaky”, and it does not have a luscious mouth feel.
Vanilla Puddin Chardonnay has aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, and pineapple; it is light to medium bodied, and very acidic. The butterscotch and vanilla notes carry over onto the palate along with a yellow pear note. This “Puddin” ain’t as sweet as Jello pudding, however, you will be able to taste some residual sugar.
Vanilla Puddin Chardonnay is priced at $16.99 a bottle, and has an ABV 13.9%.
